Q: If I register my club online, will I automatically receive certificates of insurance for my venues?

  • A: No, when registering online, a second step is required to order certificates by entering "insurance certificate program".

Q: If I apply for a sanction online and while doing so, I enter all my venues, will my certificates of insurance be ordered?

  • A: No, you must complete a second step by entering "insurance certificate program".

Q: How do I receive my certificates of insurance?

  • A: Go to www.aausports.org, click on "issued third party certificates" and enter your club code.

Q: If I need to add venues to either my sanctioned event or practices, will I be charged to do so?

  • A: Yes, if you do so through the internet. You can avoid the charge by having your Registrar add the venues to your original request.

Q: Can I avoid the $100.00 fee for certificates ordered with less than a 30 day window of time?

  • A: No, Certificate requests are date stamped on entry and automatically charged the penalty with less than 30 days from entry date to effective date.

Q: How can I verify all members registered with my club are attached to my club?

  • A: Go to www.aausports.org, click on "aau access log-in, click on "club coach", then enter your club code and your membership id (only available with primary contact's id).

Q: How do I correct errors (unattached members, etc.)?

  • A: Contact your registrar.

Q: Can I register some athletes or coaches as regular members and others as AB or added benefit members?

  • A: If you are competing in sanctioned events outside of the AAU and want to take your AAU insurance with you, ALL members must registered as AB, including coaches.
